About

I’m Vanessa Autrey—a writer, speaker, and modern sage for women craving wisdom in a chaotic world.

For 15 years, I have worked in the wellness space—as a mentor, teacher, and workshop leader. My professional experience is broad, ranging from addiction recovery to corporate wellness, and while this wide lens has given me a deep understanding of the human struggle, it is my own lived experience that grounds my mission.

Growing up in poverty, being raised in a cult, watching a parent wrestle with schizophrenia, enduring abuse and assault, and living through decades of inner turmoil—these have been my catalysts for transformation.

There are no coaching gimmicks here. No spectacles or step-by-step plans to follow. Just words to inspire and steady the soul, anchored by two guiding questions: How can we be better people? and How can we live better lives?

Because the human experience is collective. Our suffering is too. What matters most to me is distilling soulful themes and showing how they can be woven into the fabric of our own stories.

I look forward to meeting you one day, my friend.

Until our paths cross.

Xx.
